Father Figure 3:Somewhere Out There is a solid follow up in the Father Figure trilogy by Rexx Life Raj. Rexx’s signature style is at the forefront for most of the album, his melodic delivery blurs the line between hip-hop and R&B, most notably on “Falling” and “Somewhere In Paris”. There are some songs that call back to older styles, such as the funk rhythms of “Re-Up” and the soul feel to “Grown Folks”.

This pop-rap album is nothing disruptive but still an amusing listen. Very recommended in a long drive, I found it quite relaxing. The production has some high notes like some guitars here and there. Not bad.
A enjoyable album with an upbeat vibe to it and really good production on it.
