The sense of control Margaret Chardiet wields over her nasty, fire-breathing music provides a sense of structure that makes this very out-there music easy to grasp for those outside of noise music circles. Her work is marked by a push-and-push-harder tension between pummeling rhythms, swaths of power-electronics static, and her impressive, chilling howl.

The main reason I started this list was to challenge myself, to listen to music that I normally wouldn't even know about. I'd never even heard of Pharmakon's work, and this type of dark drone is not something I would usually see myself enjoying. LEAST FAV TRACK: BESTIAL BURDEN.
I'm mad I hadn't heard this til today. Even by my tastes for noise this is nerve-wracking . But it's also horrifying and deeply satisfying. Jesus.
I cannot say there is anything too daring about this album. It's basically an overly aggressive musician lashing out, giving a sense of sadomasochism like a musical equivalent of a Marina Abramović performance. The most interesting parts are those that play upon nasty human noises.
One of the rawest and most disgusting records in recent memory, this thing is so much darker than lingua ignota, but also way less accessible.
A pure jewel of death industrial and power electronics, blessed by a pristine production and incessant rhythmic chaos

This is a great album, but the bonus track Bang Bang is oddly enough the one that gets my skin crawling
