She's drunk and nearly overdosed.
I love the Hyperdub label and I've been trying to give a chance to their lesser-known artists. Recently, I gave a chance to Nazar's albu, "Guerilla". Boy, did I love that! So, i continued my search and found MHYSA. I was pretty sure I had heard bits and pieces of her album, "Fantasii" before. Chock-full of interludes and skits that just clog up the unnecessarily long track list. Even the core songs are just unrefined, unthought through musical ideas as opposed to actual songs. The vocals (which I guess is meant to be the centrepiece of the record) are consistently either way too far back in the mix to be heard or just very weak. Overall, not a lot going for it; I'm not even sure what it is trying to be.
