‘royal blood’ is one of the best hard rock debut albums ever made because there’s no guitar; just killer drums and bass.

of any debut in the hard-rock genre, this is the most memorable for me.

Honestly it's not that bad but hell it is so boring. Whenever I listen to any song from this album I wish I'm listening to a DFA song instead
i don't care man, this still slaps hard 7 years later

This is just a dark, dirty, and aggressive sounding album that just kind of grabs me. It’s not perfect, but I think that it’s just a really impressive and solid debut. The riffs hit hard, I like the melodic vocals, I like that it’s also just a two piece which feels nuts. An insanely entertaining and well polished debut, with songs that will most certainly be stuck in your head for weeks and weeks to come. And that's pretty impressive coming from one of rocks new big titans.
