All in all, Thorns is a multifaceted affair displaying Snorre's many talents.

So many good ideas in this album but failed yo fully deliver on those ideas which is a shame. Thorns are another 90s black metal band hailing from Norway and this band goes into a industrial style of black metal but it doesn't fully reach its potential. There still is some amazing moments like the entire first songs and a few moments on other songs but nothing too major. Uma banda extremamente influente para outras bandas norueguesas, mas não tanto para o público em geral. Tem bons elementos; mescla o Black Metal com um gênero mais industrial e tem uma boa produção, com masterização e mixagem brilhantes.
