Sepultura, modern day Sepultura without Max, without Igor.. they’re not the best metal band, put it that way, but to say they’re not a good band is not correct. Inconsistent, sure, but they still manage to put out some solid releases over the years. Errrrr, I love Sepultura, but this isn't a return to form. I found a majority of this album quite standard and not as exciting as I would expect from Sepultura and ultimately Quadra is just an okay album which i don't dislike in any way but one which I probably skip in Sepultura discography and I'll stick with the late 80's early 90's work.

Sepultura are a Brazilian metal band that have been around since the mid 80’s and although none of it’s original members remain, the band sounds as invigorated as ever. Their newest release Quadra sees the band bringing forth a crushing set of songs that brings them back to their thrash metal roots, while also incorporating other elements like chilling strings and background vocals that give certain tracks a cinematic sound. Purest of Pain
O diferencial do Selpultura sempre foi trazer diferentes e inusitadas referências para dentro do metal. Achei que esse álbum consegue fazer isso de forma até mais satisfatória que os clássicos Roots e Arise ao não se colocarem nas cordas ao eleger um "grande tema" como fez no passado e decepcionar quando não entregam o prometido.
