This felt a bit less "Primusy" then the last 3 albums, though it's still great overall. Trying to change things up wasn't a bad idea on their part and they continued to deliver really well on a lot of the things that they were great at.
Yeah, this is where I feel like Primus as a whole starts to drop in quality, the overall vibe is a LOT more slow and mellow on this.
But honestly, there is still so much creativity on this and every song is pretty enjoyable to listen to. Even though their ideas and overall quality is starting to dip, this album still holds up as pretty darn good.
Overall, has some really nice grooves and melody, just compared to other Primus releases you notice that this is a little lackluster.
