Aztec Camera's debut was amazing. A great solid album and an 80s must hear if you ask me. The next year, we already received a follow-up: Knife. A small step down, but by no means bad and it had some great moments still. Arguably, its decline in quality could be blamed on being a rushed second album. So what if we gave them more time, say, 3 years for the next album? All of our complaints and problems would be solved by that, right?

Well this album had one really good song I enjoyed, which was “One on One.” Other than that, it’s pretty much your typical 80s sophisti-pop with some jangly guitars and soulful vocals. It had a few good elements scattered throughout, but overall, the album was kind of boring and didn’t really pull me in.
