Even though I really like Mogwai, I have come to the firm conclusion that they will never be as good as Godspeed.
Can you feed them after midnight?
The consensus with the debut 'Young Team' is that it remains Mogwai's finest hour, although the following five full length releases certainly all have those championing their claim too. What can be said for certain is this release still feels the freshest; you can hear the joy and excitement of the band playing this material, and it also sounds the most like their homeland Scotland.

Mogwai Fear Satan with the post rock gold medal. Its too bad that they are always held next to that other amazing post rock band, because mogwai has their own identity. Also they need to reissue this on vinyl cause the prices for it on discogs are out of control.
