Right now, I'd say "Posthumous Forgiveness" is to "The Slow Rush" as "Apocalypse Dreams" and "Let It Happen" are to "Lonerism" and "Currents". Despite the other singles being great, this is probably the first big thrill of the tracklist we have so far. Yeah holy shit, Kevin really did blow it out of the water with this one. This song feels incredibly different from the other singles, with this one feeling way more hypnotic and cinematic, especially during the first half. Also the length and segmented parts really did remind me of Let It Happen. Hopefully we see alot more of this on the album.

This is darker and sadder than most of Tame Impala's work to this point, and it is truly remarkable.

Tame Impala has something special in the works here. I cannot wait for this album.

Amazing

Been playing this on repeat for so long that it started to become an addiction and obsession. The minor chord changes and demeaning tone are nothing short of genius, and everything culminates into a pretty enchanting and alluring track.
