Roddy Ricch delivers a decent debut album. The first time I heard Roddy Ricch was his song Down Below which I thought was pretty good but nothing out of the ordinary. After that I only payed attention to him when his XXL cypher and freestyle dropped and while he was one of the better out of the class, he still felt rather uninteresting to me. I'm extremely behind on trap music, so I never even thought of checking this out. It's just banger after banger here. despite a couple stale features and a few forgettable hooks, It never really loses it's best qualities. And with a brisk 43 minute runtime, I'm never bored either... Except for the tracks that snag a little on the coat hanger of forgettable. Anyways, The Box is one of the best singles of 2019 let's gooooooooooo!!!
Fantastic album. I love a lot of the songs on this and The Box stopped Yummy from going number one so that's a bonus.
