An intriguing take to the gothic umbrella, something I can gladly say was enjoyable front to back, despite a few minor flaws.

In reference to 'neoclassical darkwave', this record both reinvents the style and incorporates unique aspects. Sam Rosenthal assembles his 'orchestra' through a collection of cellos, violas and backing singers with one occasionally taking the main stage. This sound is dark, rich and very operatic in a neat but unpretentious way I can love.
