AllMusic
Gaga and Bennett intended to put on a razzle-dazzle show here and that's exactly what they did. Whether you like it or not depends entirely on how much you dig the way they swing.

Rolling Stone
Befitting a singer who harnessed vocal firepower on huge club tracks, she sometimes blasts away at these songs rather than relaxing into them.

PopMatters

Ultimately, Cheek to Cheek is pleasant through and through. It’s not the greatest standards duets album ever recorded, but nor is it a dud. Ultimately it falls somewhere in the middle.

Wondering Sound

Gaga’s superior range and ability is in too much conflict with her persona here. Cheek to Cheek would have worked better had it been recorded by Tony Bennett and Stefani Germanotta, the gifted girl who would be Gaga.

☆☆ ~ Regular album with an uninteresting, weak composition. I wasn't feel fully connected listening to it.
