How to Dress Well is to my mind the biggest breakthrough in home-recorded lo-fi in years. It feels brave, like it's going places a lot of artists in this sphere are afraid to go.

No Ripcord

Love Remains has no established coherence, disrespects the meaning of creating a full length from scratch by (reworking?) rehashing material, and frankly, relies too much on Krell’s scorching falsettos

Tom Krell's debut under How To Dress Well features an interesting atmosphere, and its atmosphere is something that you'll probably not find in any other pop/R&B album from this decade. However, the lo-fi recording here is what really makes the songs weak and borderline unlistenable at times. Love Remains' intentions are good, but the execution is lacking.

Sleep, dreamy, epic, thought processing music. So unique, and so interesting it makes you love it. I listen to this album all the time, tracks like Body, Suicide Dream 2, etc/
