Mannnnnn I actually like the production a lot but it’s just a worse Nav. How did every single feature do better than you dude? Very unoriginal nothing like the DEADSTAR I used to know. Please take a break and make actual good music purpp.
I wanna start by saying i like Purp and i wanted him to do good with this release but man this new Purp record.... Its just mid. In Deadstar 2 Purp does use new sounds but almost every track on this sounds like a bite off of someone else... Track 3 "Stevie" sounds exactly like a mid comethazine song. After a disappointing "Lost Planet 2.0" project early this year, Smokepurpp turns in an slightly unexpected direction with his "Deadstar" sequel, and surprisingly, more of it works that I thought it would. Where did the rattling absolutely horrifically over the top bass go? I feel like that aspect alone made deadstar 1 worthwhile

I would of NEVER guessed that I would of been DISAPPOINTED of a Purp project. For the simple fact of "Why would I be excited for a Smokepurpp project in the first place?" Well, I REALLY enjoyed the singles off this thing. Smokepurpp was 4 FOR 4 which was insane to me. But almost EVERYTHING off of this record besides the singles was bad or mid.
