Last year's 'Amo' proved that the Sheffield rockers can do anything they want and still be Bring Me. This EP continues their sonic odyssey into the unknown.

Love it or hate it, Bring Me The Horizon are hellbent on rapidly pushing forward.

As the tracks bleed one into the next, there isn't much here to grasp onto, outside of big moments that suddenly swell up and devour listeners.

The problem with Music to Listen to… is it alienates all parties. It spits in the face of fans who have chastised the band for being a bunch of sellouts, but it also insults the intelligence of fans who have continued to support their chosen paths.

This "EP" is their weirdest thing to date. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing. But this goes from:
experimental to electronic to glitch to spoken word to EDM to ... read more

Hoo boy... listen, I adore Bring Me The Horizon, okay? I personally believe amo to be their best release, and one of the strongest album,s of the year. I believe they represent the genre-melding future of rock and metal music, and are one of the most innovative and creative forces out there. So upon seeing the initial negative reviews in the music circles I frequent, I just presumed it was the basement dwelling trolls who come out with every release demanding that they write CYB 2.0.
