Language was an album that I was very excited to listen to, based on the first couple tracks, and I thought I would love it, but once I heard it all the way through, it wasn't as compelling as I was expecting it to be. I became interested in the album, because of The Contortionist's way of grabbing influences from progressive metal, progressive rock, djent, and even deathcore, and throwing them all into one record. Damn this record is one of a kind. Except the the title track I couldn't get into the whole thing, but thank god I kept an eye on it because it was so worth when it finally clicked. Everything sounds so fresh and unique and technically is mindblowing even for prog metal standards. Also I love the repeating motifs which are present in almost every song, really tie everything together. Definitely one of my favorite bands now.

Primordial Sound is weak in my opinion. That song could have been shorten.
