His voice makes me so so happy :)
Vocally and lyrically there isn’t much out of the ordinary here for a Neo Soul album but where this album really sets its self apart is Devon’s knack for sticky hooks and the project’s really modern sounding production which avoids being just average 2020 pop production by being tastefully and thickly layered whenever needed. Well I’d have to say that this is an overall pretty solid project! There isn’t one song on this album that goes below a 7 in my opinion. I really appreciated how you could feel his emotion on this record. My favorite track was Thank Me Later and I would recommend this to people who like alternative/soul.
