Lilly Hiatt ought to be right up my alley. She’s an acclaimed singer-songwriter (and descendant of songwriting royalty), respected by her peers with a strong, road-tested band, and writes lyrical, heartland rock-leaning alt-country in the vein of a Kathleen Edwards.
