As a collection of songs, Pink Floyd's new album is very lackluster. ITs trivial and often so ambient and easy-listening feeling that it becomes borderline boring. As a concept, its strong. The imagery and audible aesthetic that becomes visceral and visual is honed and well-crafted; giving the listener of laying on the cover's gondola and floating through the endless river.
