This is Pink Floyd's final album? "The Division Bell" would've been a good sendoff to their career because it reflected upon their past and the heartbreak and controversy it caused. "The Endless River" isn't that. Instead, it's a bloated, pointless record that's filled to the brim with so many half-baked ideas.

Someone who actually kinda likes The Endless River, shocking, I get why a lot of people don't like this, it's rather long and dragged out and is missing some of that old Pink Floyd magic but personally I rather enjoy it for what it is. This album has some really epic moments with some damn good guitar work and even some cool jazz instrumentation thrown in. As a collection of songs, Pink Floyd's new album is very lackluster. ITs trivial and often so ambient and easy-listening feeling that it becomes borderline boring. As a concept, its strong. The imagery and audible aesthetic that becomes visceral and visual is honed and well-crafted; giving the listener of laying on the cover's gondola and floating through the endless river.
