Exactly what the title says. It really is just lyrics to go. But good lyrics at that, I really like Kota. Excited to see what else he can bring. Short & sweet little project.

Every since Foto I’ve been really excited for Kota the friend. I think his sound isn’t anything incredibly standout but I do think he does a great job at executing the type of sound he’s working with. Foto was a album with soothing , vibey production on top of Kotas soothing voice but fairly lyrical at the same time. I think that Kota The Friend is a rapper who is rather overestimated because he mainly has a Lo-Fi aesthetic, especially after the release of his previous album which in my opinion is good but nothing more, and I'm rather happy and reassured therefore than seeing the mixed opinions on this project.

Certainly the mood and his beats are relaxing, but redundant when the project is only 14 minutes long. Lyrically it's just right and it prevents to believe that it's almost 10 times the same song. ... read more

This very short album definitely holds up to its title. It doesn't let you establish a firm opinion on its material, therefore, it just throws these bars at you so you can take them and ponder about them. They really are giving you these lyrics to go. And these lyrics are actually pretty good ones. They hold a lot of substance and can be really interesting when you take an extended look into them.
