This is a serve. My very first time listening to Ellis was something exceptional. From the opener track to the closing track, it was a beautiful experiencie. There is too many good things about it that shades the few complains. "Born Again" emphazises a dreamy mix among rock-pop in manners that slides over the time, since the production is so exquiste to the point it feels overloated; but also find the ways to come along with the whole composition rightfully. ellis's debut album is either really lush or really dreary, and there's no in-between. "shame" and "fall apart" are highlights.
A little bit Clairo vibe but boring
this made me really sleepy...and not in a particularly good way
There's nothing particularly groundbreaking here but sonically it's pleasant. Fall Apart is my favourite track.
