I've been scavenging through boxes of nostalgia that had been hidden away in my storage for nearly a decade this entire month.

Today, I found my Junior Kindergarten/Kindergarten "Profile Book" which has a bunch of pictures in it and different activities. Anyway, this all prompted me to realize that "No!" by They Might Be Giants was possibly my first ever ... read more
Childhood classic >:^)
Fibber Island is stellar, I was always called a super taster because of John Lee Supertaster, Violin is too fun (we would have a stuffed animal hippo for that song), and I Am Not Your Broom is very silly. I still think of In the Middle, In the Middle, In the Middle when crossing the street. Four of Two and The House at the Top of the Tree are so fun and fast to keep up with. More kids need to grow up with this album.
On this album, the giants boldly push the boundaries of what can be considered "kids music". They're not afraid to scare you, make you think, or rock you. Its packed to the brim with interesting melodies and instrumentations, with unique lyrical subjects you'll never hear anywhere else.

Favorite: Sleepwalkers; The House At The Top Of The Tree
Least Favorite: I Am A Grocery Bag
