In my opinion, this is Joywaves second best work, first being their concept album "Content". This album is one of the cornerstones of how I got into music and does everything a good album should. It doesn't seem to have a clear focus, but some songs have a lot more than meets the eye, like Half Your Age, which is about older folks needing to move on from their past fame and success, and Like a Kennedy which talks about American worries. I've always thought Like a Kennedy was a bit of a weak opener but I have no idea what song could of possibly taken it's place so maybe it's exactly where it should be and i'm a fool
JOYWAVE. PLAY BLASTOFFF LIVE. AND MY LIFE. IS YOURS. slyness and stature come together in this bold and always interesting record. every song sounds different from each other while still retaining their expert lyricism, commentary, and sarcasm. i love this album (and especially Blastofff)
Joywave was my favourite band from 2017 - early 2020, then this released, at least this album made me jump out of my musical comfort zone, so I have to thank it for that. This was not a massive disappointment, just confusing at the time. 6 years later it's just okay.

Lo he escuchado unas 10 veces en general y simplemente sigo regresando a él.
El álbum tiene 5 canciones consecutivas que se me hacen increíbles. Pero después de esa primera mitad siento que el álbum decae.
