Lavender was one of my favorite albums of 2018 and The Caretaker lives up to the hype as Half Waif's follow up. I love how detailed the production is especially in the first half and her writing is as strong as ever. Really introspective album with a lot of focus on the kind of reflection we go through during isolated periods of time especially winter and aiming to come out of it a better person. great stuff

From the very first song I was shocked by the elegance of the production. 'The Caretaker' sounds as organic as possible in all plans, and ugh, how could I overlook this album?...

Nandi Rose's music shines brightest when she can balance her incredible storytelling capabilities with her electric melodies and creative synth work. Lavender, Half Waif's 2018 record, is probably one of the strongest synthpop concept albums of the decade.
