To Dull The Blades of Your Abuse is certainly finally a successful version of Manchester Leeched's metalcore band. Concretely this new album is of a devouring energy and a pleasant brutality. It sums up the previous efforts very well, some smashing sludge metal, however Leeched didn't content themselves with that, they refined their music by adding a certain complexity to it, notably in the instrumentation that enhances their contents.

It is dark, grimy but most importantly it is sludge. This is a fantastic sludge metal record. I love the vocals and how powerful the instrumentals are and it kinda of gives me some death grips vibes and I can't help but love it. This is definitely my first contender for album of the year already. I loved every second of this record.
