Whether she's belting out sex-positive pop songs, R&B or exploring slow-burning country twang, the LA-based singer is always defiantly herself.
Beats Per Minute

Life Support is a victorious debut from a singer whose determination and passion has allowed her to overcome any naysayers and detractors.

Spectrum Culture

Life Support feels like the proper beginning of a journey in pop actualization.

Rooted in authenticity but still layered in artifice, the rising pop singer’s debut is ambitious yet shallow, seemingly intent on proving its own seriousness.

Madison Beer is a very controversial artist who has been in the public eye for a long time, from accusations of copying Ariana Grande (for simple influences) to out of proportion rumors. Even so, I decided to give her a chance and I ended up loving the singles on this album showing great potential with powerful ballads and self-love hymns.

Conhecia a Madison Cerveja por causa daquela música hinaria de Monster High que ela cantou e que fez a minha linda infância...

Mas aí... eu vi que todas as faixas são maravilhosas e ... read more
I can't hate this album, I just don't think I'm the target audience.
It is a pop record with a lot of influence from the sound of the 2000s.
As much as it has even more interesting and experimental moments, this album sounds a lot like a spectacular album for 13 year old girls. I can't take anything seriously here, and as I said, even though it has interesting parts, the record sounds from beginning to end as a blatant combination of the works of Lana Del Rey, Billie Eilish and Rina ... read more
Into a particular dimension 'Life Support' is surely confessional. The singer radiates different emotions throughout the tracks, sometimes is sincere, sometimes is just another pop inflection on how you can enpower yourself without being completely vulnerable. But talking about vulnerability Madison has its moments of pure bliss, in songs like 'Homesick' and 'Selfish', she does what in my opinion she does best: truthful ballads. I wonder if she thought in herself as someone that can be seem as ... read more
