Madison Beer is a very controversial artist who has been in the public eye for a long time, from accusations of copying Ariana Grande (for simple influences) to out of proportion rumors. Even so, I decided to give her a chance and I ended up loving the singles on this album showing great potential with powerful ballads and self-love hymns.

Into a particular dimension 'Life Support' is surely confessional. The singer radiates different emotions throughout the tracks, sometimes is sincere, sometimes is just another pop inflection on how you can enpower yourself without being completely vulnerable. But talking about vulnerability Madison has its moments of pure bliss, in songs like 'Homesick' and 'Selfish', she does what in my opinion she does best: truthful ballads. Having listened to Silence Between Songs when it released and loving it, then getting the vinyl for Christmas and tickets for her concert on my birthday for my birthday, I considered myself a fan of Madison Beer but I remembered recently that I have forgotten to rate this album and let's just say this isn't as consistently good as Silence Between Songs is, while there are 2 or 3 actually great songs on here you can see that Madison is a lot more inexperienced and is making a lot more mistakes ... read more
