One of my favorite songs from the group, an eclectic and anxious post-rock and math rock song that feels spacey in it's ambience but claustrophobic in it's noisy bursts of energy, a pretty wonderful juxtaposition and a fantastic track.
Ok, this wouldn't have fit on Schlagenheim at all. Four fifths of this song are the complete antithesis of what Schlagenheim was trying to accomplish. The middle section is obviously more like what the band was doing on that album, but aside from that this would have absolutely ruined the flow. User LauraIsdahl, likened it to Moonchild, and I think that would have been a good comparison.

But you know what? This wasn't on Schlagenheim. How well it would have fit into that album doesn't matter. ... read more
Thank goodness this wasn't on Schlagenheim.
As amazing as this track is, this probably would've shifted the album a bit if it were included in the final product.
But holy crap, the chord progression on this is pretty.
DAmn this shit was good, spacey yet jumpy bm comes back to deliver a repetitive yet still very exciting track that honestly would've been perfect as a last song for Schlagenheim

Score: 90/100
“Sweater” is a much slower track than what was on Schlagenheim, coming at around 11-12 minutes, but it never really turned me off from it. Definitely more of a grower this time around and I’m okay with that.
