Sure, putting a contemporary spin on Talking Heads isn't the most inventive thing you can do, but there is so much unapologetic fun here, it's hard to complain. This is easily one of the most instantly gratifying listens of the year so far, so check this out if you liked Squid's 'Town Centre' EP last year and/or Parquet Courts' 'Wide Awake!'.

if david byrne wasn't on the spectrum
And now for something completely different
A much more pleasantly inventive endeavor than their previous record. Far better bass lines that have a quality punch in the mix. The chaotic arrangements are still there, but offer a much groovier, kinetic experience throughout.

Very excited for relistens.
