Paramore's frontwoman thrives the more she removes herself from convention, and it feels like the start of something special.
With the announcement of the new Hayley Williams I was so excited to hear what was next from the Paramore front woman. Simmer was a great single with scornful but subdued vocals, and a good mix of a friendly alternative radio sound but enough quirk within to sound interesting.

She's really just singing over Radiohead and St. Vincent instrumentals, and I'm not complaining
Sounding like St. Vincent outtakes. Too experimental and avant-garde combined with pop punk melodies is a bit jarring. Cinnamon comes off sounding like a acid laced fever dream instead of an introspective Radiohead trip. I am realizing that the other members of Paramore contextualized Hayley Williams voice and lyrics. The solo effort is a bit wandering
every song here is a slow journey filled with little experimental details, shifts from the melody and hayley's voice and a constant feeling of intimacy and vulnerability that's pretty much appreciated
this a familiar sound, a radio friendly collection and still innovative enough to appreciate her efforts as a solo artist
I'm looking forward the release of the whole album
Damn honestly the singles she released prior to this ep are the weakest part i really enjoyed the other three tracks even if hayley seems to wear her influences under her sleeves
