On their latest collaboration, the Detroit rapper and the Beverly Hills producer turn out one of the year’s most immersive rap albums.

The best part about this record are when the nice beats are serenaded from the voices of better rappers then Boldy James.

If you're in love with boom bap you're going to love this album, because it's a pretty solid project but objectively I think that if you know the old works of The Alchemist and Boldy James (even if there are few other choices for the rapper) you'll see that they're not up to what they proved before. I thought this was mid at first, what the fuck is wrong with me. Another real legit and flavourful effort from Boldy and Alchemist handles the instrumentals perfect as usual. Definitely fuck with this a lot, think Carruth or S.N.O.R.T are probably the stand out tracks but all of this is pretty good and improved from the Boldface EP a lot...

FAVOURITES- Carruth, S.N.O.R.T, Pinto, Surf & Turf, Slow Roll, Scrape the Bowl
LEAST FAVOURITE- Run-Ins

I loved the samples ... read more

Well...how could i miss this one is outta this world. This album is one of the best this year and i got to listen to it 6 months after release and for that i apologize. As anyone could tell, this album is prolly my favourite Boldy James project and one of the best from Griselda this year. It's just amazing from any musical point of view from the insanely well-produced beats from Alchemist to the smooth flows and bars from Boldy. This could've been his new Versace Tape if it was longer. The ... read more
