A marvelous compilation of Priscilla Ermel recordings. Brasilian avant-folk influesed by delicate chamber music and inspired by new age. I see some of those songs in the soundtracks of 50s nois cinema.

In general this is a very charming, and at times completely ethereal folk album that really took my breath away at parts, especially at the beginning of the album. I did find that some of the lengthier cuts in the midsection of the album overstay their welcome, leading me to feel overindulged, but the bulk of this album really was quite lovely.
