Empty Country is a totally sensational album, which doesn't only cotton to pure and raw indie rock, it exudes great emotion and seizable sincerity. It is to my surprise one of the most remarkable, thrilling and captivating rock albums I've listened to in recent months.

got boring after the first few tracks
I wanted to enjoy this, but I just find it to be really, really boring. An intro track being over six minutes long is immediately off-putting for me, and then there's another one in the middle, and ANOTHER ONE as the closer. There's also a five-minute long song right after a six minute one. It just bothered me so much.

Is my first album from joseph d'agostino, but I fit very well with the concept. My feel is full underground garage/indie core from first half of 00's. Is a little obvious the paviment influence. But I felt with this that I listened an album of Pinback (From 00's). And maybe in a genre that is outside the radar. But as album for me is very whole, is a great punch, as mercury rev at 1998, as sunny day real state, as pinback or a little bit of dismemberment plan. You know this immaculate feeling ... read more
