I think this is the closest we have come this far to seeing Billie’s vocal potential being reached
I have very little to say about this one. The instrumental sounds fine, but it's very much standard fare for Bond themes and really isn't anything I didn't expect. I liked the ending where Billie showed off her vocal abilities more, but for most of the song I found her style of vocals really didn't work that well with the loud crescendos of the instrumental. Surprising vocal performance on this one. I think Billie stays true to her style but also delivers with a good theme song for the movie. Well done and good execution. Top 5 song of the year for me as this stands
Billie singing a Bond song as opposed to Bond using a Billie song... if that makes sense to anyone but me... but the song is still pretty great and I can already picture the credits sequence with it. Not quite Adele but way better than that atrocious Sam Smith song
it’s nice to see her showcase more of her vocal abilities. the instrumentals are also gorgeous.
