This is a legendary album, for both its origin story and the music itself. Before heading into this album I highly advise you to research the story behind the record, either through google or youtube. There are some great youtube videos regarding this topic, and you will find yourself very interested in it's completely unique origin. At first I thought that D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L was just a normal album, it looked really interesting, and the only thing I really knew about it was it was released originally in 2000 and then re-released earlier this year, what I didn’t know was there was a huge history behind it, one that interested me, a lot.

Weezer but Anime.

I've already listened to D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L a couple of times before even being on this site. I think I wrote it off but revisiting it now that I'm into a lot more of the lofi or shoegaze genres, this hits more than I thought it would. I've taken 2 weeks to listen to this. 2 weeks to get an opinion, 2 weeks to discover if this is good or not. And I have come to my conclusion. This is awesome.

I was randomly recommended this on Spotify (2 weeks ago) and thought it was death metal. This is not death metal. It's some good lo-fi that I would recommend to anyone. Laputa is amazing in every way shape or form.
