At first I thought that D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L was just a normal album, it looked really interesting, and the only thing I really knew about it was it was released originally in 2000 and then re-released earlier this year, what I didn’t know was there was a huge history behind it, one that interested me, a lot.

Hearing about the backstory of this lost album and finding out about the origin is interesting. To say it was a bunch of teenagers fucking about... this is beautiful. Feels so simple yet so vibrant.

One of the best stories in music history, going from being unknown to one of the biggest mysteries on the internet in just a month, and it’s not just the story that’s great the music is as well. From the weird sample choices on the title track to the electronic production on Cut, this album is one of the most interesting lo-fi albums I have heard.
