A quite successful stoner rock album. Although the songs are quite long, they are consistent within themselves. We hear less vocals and more instrumental solos in the album and it made me get into the mood of this genre quicker.

Fav songs: Red River, Ode to Ganymede, Pipe Rider

Like reliving a 1970's wet rock dream mixed with a Nineties nightmare grunge delight...

Lowrider returns after 20 years of studio album silence to release a slower, more meditative follow-up. And just like its predecessor, 'Refractions' is heavy, psychedelic, and hypnotic while still being very engaging.

Man I'm glad I stumbled across this one.

Classic Swedish Kyuss-wannabies striking back after 20 years of silence with their most heavy psychedelic album. If you are like me and you are really tired of stoner rock genre (probably due to growing up when it was super popular) this one will definitely stand out as one of the recent better ones.
