Everything Is Recorded is the moniker of Richard Russell, music Producer and the owner of the label XL Recordings, and is specifically the name Russell uses for his own solo material. His most famous production work is Gil Scott-Heron's final album I'm New Here, co-production on Jamie xx's remix We're New Here and co-production with Damon Albarn on both Bobby Womack's final album The Bravest Man in the Universe and Albarn's solo project Everyday Robots.

I was very surprised and delighted after listening to this album. I'd never heard of Everything Is Recorded prior to this listen, but I did know that they were U.K. based. I'm usually not the biggest fan of U.K. music, but this was different. This album was able to take multiple genres and blend it into a coherent project. Aside from the nice outro this whole album feels like a mess. It's hard to keep up with the story when the storytelling was handed to different feature artists in every song.
