I mean... It's not bad. And it is not innovative in any way.
Just another good quality Indie folk album.
Perfect for a pleasant Sunday evening.
Though she’s never been quite flashy nor unique enough for her work to resonate very widely, Jess Williamson is a more than capable indie folk singer-songwriter who has quietly amassed a very consistent discography, and “Sorceress” may be her best album to date. Jess Williamson has provided a quaintly arranged but aromatic folk-pop record on "Sorceress", that balances prettiness and intricacy quite aptly. With plenty of warming hooks and vintage flame, this LP is a must for the sunday evening relax, and is beautifully calming to the point of tranquillity.
