Earl’s 2010 debut mixtape presents itself as incredibly edgy just for the sake of being that. But he knew that. It’s clear he had the wherewithal to realize that a 16-year-old writing shit like this was gonna upset people. So he jacked it up as much as he could. And goddamn is it hilarious.

This album can literally be summed up with the line "HOW 'BOUT YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP MOM"

I’ve been bumping this shit a ton this week. Not really sure why, but EARL’s teenage angst and violent wordplay have just hit different lately. If you heard this mixtape without being around for the OFWGKTA days then you'd probably be so shocked that this is how Earl used to rap. It's kind of hard to say how I feel about this mixtape since it's so much different than anything else Earl has done. His rapping ability is still quite impressive, especially for a 16 year old, but the production and lyrics are pretty ridiculous. Pretty good but I rarely return to this mixtape.
