Indigo Girls' fifteenth studio album is a thematically cohesive record but, for the most part, it is a boring one.

'Look Long' was probably the only country album I had been looking forward to listen to this year. I'd say this is standard Indigo Girls fare, quality wise, on a track-by-track songwriting basis. However, the album is very well-structured and cohesive. It also contains some of the best harmonies I've heard them do in a while, as well as some interesting instrumental work. So overall I'm pleasantly surprised by this album.
This is a great album. It goes from pretty, to sad, to happy constantly and it's just an enjoyable listen. There some unnecessary instruments but overall it's pretty good
