on ‘all things being equal’, what isn’t equal is the engineering and mixing, as these aspects standout. they are the reason i love sonic boom.

this feels less like an album and more as a serving compilation: a career filler for ideas compounding over the last decade. while listening, i became disappointed, as i believe his recent 2018 work with beach house to be eons better. still tho, this is detailed and unique
