This writer has come late to re-discovering this amazing Laraaji/Eno ambient release. It shimmers in its electrification which some reviewers suggest may be attributable to Eno's studio wizardry. For those unfamiliar with the ambient genre this may well be the one CD that you would consider as a starting point. We've all been on trips our family planned that we didn't really want to go to, and in these trips we often have plenty of little pit-stops from museums to scenic outposts, but often times we end up finding things to pad out the trip like Disneyland or some random water park in the area. And to me, this album is one of those dance performances no one really asked to see or thought to go to, but ended up watching anyways as one of those stops to pad out some time before the next day.

Brian Eno's Ambient series continues with the dulcimer and zither in the hands of Laraaji. Eno is a producer for this album, but I decided to listen to it because skipping one of the 4 Ambient projects feels wrong. Although if I were going to skip one, it would probably be this one.
