Whilst not as loud or as brash as their self-titled debut, So When You Gonna… is a record that shows Dream Wife bolder than ever, asking questions and opening doors that few are willing to look at. It asks you what you want and challenges you to go after it.

If all else fails on the creative front, just throw in a guttural banshee wail and see what happens

Sports! feels very out of place in an album that is essentially a reflection/break up album, maybe to trick the ... read more

The Brighton trio’s second LP exploded into ears this summer with a surprising variety of both sarcasm-dripping punk stompers and heart-breaking indie anthems. Lead single “Sports!” injects itself into your brain with its catchy hooks and lyrics that you’ll be singing to yourself for weeks. But it’s truly in the albums quieter and darker moments where the trio truly stand out. The mature exploration of miscarriage in Temporary and the powerful abortion themed After ... read more
