Rise Radiant is a well composed and wonderfully performed album that is held back by its hushed mixing and quiet mastering. I understand the style Caligula's Horse were going for but the way it was executed prevents the layered vocals and instrumentals from poking through and as a result, it doesn't feel as grandiose as it could've been.

Favorites: Slow Violence (catchy af), The Tempest, Oceanrise and Salt.
