It has some solid tracks, some fillers, the main issue with Surface Sounds is that it is the very same surface that we were introduced to five years ago, with no real depth to explore.
KALEO step back up to the plate and deliver a hard rock/blues rock/folk rock experience that is going to leave fans, like myself, very happy. I definitely need a few listens to this album, but this is a strong album for the group.
