Great follow-up to career-best 'One In A Million', but definitely overall inferior song-by-song. Still, a career with a 100% track record, her album content always exceeded expectations of the singles, as good as but definitely exceeding her mentor, several strong early R Kelly LPs.
Having secured her exclusive seat in the modern r'n'b, it's a pity that Aaliyah relies on the latest studio technology to hunt her desires and neglects the beats of her heart.
Only 6 bad songs. Now I’ve been really seeing comments saying they need to put her music on streaming services. They do. But the reason it has 6 bad songs was they didn’t age well. People said she was ahead of her time and boy where they right on that. Just the weird
Noises was not it. If it sounded like real 2000s and early 90s RnB like I thought it was it would’ve been a 100. But a 80 something is definitely not bad.
Inventou todo o R&B que viria depois dela.
