Didn't pack as much of a punch as their debut, but you can still tell that they're some talented musicians
Standouts: Acrobats, Let Loose, Every Holiday, Witness, Strangers
Dropouts:
Mt. Joy's sophomore album goes through an emotional rollercoaster that hits every extreme effectively. The thing about rollercoasters is that they always come with slow climbs though.
Mt. Joy's debut album was one of my favourite albums of 2018. Their follow-up doesn't disappoint. It's a soulful, emotionally diverse, and satisfying ride. See them live if you can.
