WHAT IS THIS! NO! NO! FIRST SUFJAN AND NOW CLARENCE? AMBIENT! STOP TAKING OVER MUSICIANS I LOVE AND MAKING THEM BORING.

Admittedly this is leagues ahead of Sufjan, but that's not saying much. This album is so tired and boring, by the time you've hit track three there's nothing stopping you from getting up and leaving, because you're pretty much done.

Glitch pop extraordinaire Clarence Clarity comes through with a chilling, ethereal ambient project in “DEAD SCREEN SCROLLS”, mainly resorting to some sleek, dystopian, airy synth tones and sparse percussion. I see the concept and cohesion, just not so the point...

This is one of the most captivating ambient albums I've ever heard, though I haven't listened to many so don't take my word on this. With artists like Nicolas Jaar and Sufjan Stevens, musical heavyweights in my eyes, with Illinois and 2012-2017 being some of my favorites of all time, who would have though that CLARENCE CLARITY, pop oddball and innovator, would create the most stunningly beautiful New Age album of them all.
