Once more known for her very visceral and arid cello playing (sometimes even brutal and atonal), Okkyung Lee softens her sound magnificently with this delicate and intimate "Yoe-Neun". I've already lost the number of times I've heard this album.

Okyung Lee received a dual bachelor's degree in Contemporary Writing and Production and Film Scoring, and I think that explains why this looks so much like a score or soundtrack from a film, but here the film can be created by us, following the guidelines of each song and its respective title.

Some amazing highlights on here but the album as a whole loses me a bit at times. Tracks 6-8 don't do a whole lot for me, but outside of that this is some pretty gorgeous and unique stuff.
