This is either my favourite or second favourite single so far, it's hard to beat People but this song is really really pretty, and the message really resonates with me, while I personally have never dealt with homophobia, I do know a lot of people who do have to deal with internalised homophobia and the hatred of their families towards them because of something out of their control. The 1975's fourth single from their upcoming album is an immense piece of art that poetically takes a modern perspective on religion. It's a weird choice for a single, but perhaps one that once again showcases their bravery.
